Just a little about me.

I’m a professional freelance makeup artist with over 20 years experience in the creative industry. I’ve had the pleasure of working with many different types of talent whether they are models, celebrities, entertainers, business executives, children or those who haven’t been on set or in front of the camera before. I pride myself on building great rapport with my clients and the wider production team. I find this goes a long way in understanding the needs of the shoot and delivering the desired look for the client, director, assistant director or stylist.

Having worked with 1000’s of clients, there isn’t much I haven’t experienced as a freelance professional makeup artist. From working directly with celebrities and Fortune 500 executives, to leading a team of up to 26 make-up artists. In my chair we’re just two people having a great time getting ready to perform.

Absolutely. I’m passionate about our world and will always choose the most carbon neutral way to arrive on set, be that driving in my electric car or via public transport. Most of my clients are based in London, however I also travel throughout the UK and internationally.
You’ll always see me on set early. I have a motto that says arriving on time means arriving at least 15 mins early! It allows for any unexpected delays and also gives me time to find and set up my station. I’ll come and say hello to all crew members and be ready to assist wherever required. Having read the call sheet ahead of time, I already understand the various crew member roles allowing me to clarify any details early where necessary. Whether I am the Makeup Artist on set, a member of the Make-Up Artist Team or the Make-Up Team Lead, I’m a bubbly person who’s always courteous and respectful to my colleagues and client. I love a great outfit and will always be professionally yet comfortably dressed.
Having been in the makeup industry for over two decades and being a Professional Makeup Artist and Skin Care Specialist, over the years I have hand picked many different products from many different brands. I only use the very best and absolutely only use products on my clients that I am happy to use on my own skin.
Having had twenty plus years make-up artistry experience, I have a vast amount of skills and knowledge of differing make-up application styles. These range from flawless skin, the no make-up make-up look, special effects, blood & gore, theatre and fantasy to name a few. If you have something special in mind, get in touch…
I follow the APA rates which are a 10+1 hour day at £353/day as a Make-Up Artist or from £480/day as a Make-Up Artist Team Lead. Travel, per diems and an allowance of £15/day for use of makeup products and tools where applicable. However I understand that flexibility is required from time to time which I’m ok with. Please get in touch regarding any special rates required and for multiple day / week shoots.
